On December 30th, my latest play will premiere in Madrid, a short comedy entitled “Si Macbeth levantara la cabeza” (Macbeth turns in his grave).
Performances will take place from Thursday to Sunday (except on December 31st and January 1st) until January 23rd. The 15-minute play will be performed several times every evening for small groups of spectators according to a schedule that can be checked here.
The venue Microteatro por Dinero, a very interesting cultural initiative that you just cannot miss. It is located in number 9 of the street Loreto y Chicote, between the underground stations of Gran Vía and Callao. On the following video you can learn more about their project (only in Spanish).
I’ll try to be in Madrid on the 15th to attend one of the performances, as this will be the first time that one of my plays is produced without my involvement. I can’t wait to see my characters in action!
Once again this year, we wish you merry Christmas in our very own particular way…
And with this, I’m going on vacation. Enjoy the holidays, write loads, and see you in the future!
I’ve already recommended the Extra Credits videos at The Escapist magazine, where many aspects of videogame writing are dealt with week after week. Yesterday’s issue discusses a rather forgotten theme in videogames: sexual diversity.
I have updated the section devoted to The Unfinished Masterpiece with new links where to buy the book, including Casa Del Libro and Amazon UK.
The Unfinished Masterpiece received the IX Martín Recuerda theatre award. It’s the story of three siblings trapped in a mansion so huge that they have forgotten the way out.
The play is available as a bilingual edition including the text both in English and Spanish, with both versions written by the author.
