Good omens

“Bad Omens”, the 10th episode of Mrs. Carrington, is now available. Featuring Alaska as The Fortune-Teller.

Alaska sits here

The answer was clear: the guest star on the forthcoming episode of Mrs. Carrington is the wonderfully fabulous Alaska.

The singer of Fangoria plays an old acquaintace of Leona, who requires her services to get rid of a certain nuisance. A hatted, gloved nuisance if you catch my drift…

Episode numer 10 is entitled “Bad Omens” and will premiere in not one but two parties at the popular pub Six Colours of Granada, Spain, where the series is produced. The episode will be available on the internet from Monday the 19th.

On the image, left to right: Margot (Leona Carrington), Fidel Martínez (director), Javier Corral (detective Alfred Bates) and Alaska.

Who’s sitting here?

The tenth episode of Mrs. Carrington will feature a very special guest. Haven’t you heard the rumours?

After discovering the spy who plotted against her in her own mansion, Leona is forced to look for help from someone from her past.

Who do you think will sit on the chair in the image?

She’s a very popular artist in Spain, Mexico and all of Latin America, with over 6 million records sold in the last three decades – a pioneer in electropop!

Furthermore, she will be the first actress with text in the series, undoubtedly a historical moment in Mrs. Carrington!

You still don’t know it? Some images have been released on the show’s Facebook fan page and the Flickr accounts of our collaborators… You’ll have to do some research, detective!

The answer? Very soon…

Confidences

A news-filled week brings along the ninth episode of Mrs. Carrington.

The murder of Lorenzo has divided the Carrington Mansion. What will Leona do? Will Chumina be able to overcome her loss? What happened to the Mistress? New characters and revealing confidences will produce heart attacks… guaranteed!

But in case of need, you may always have the nurse take a look at you…

“Confidences” is the longest and most complex episode so far, not to be missed!

Leona on the news

Especial NavidadMrs. Carrington, the most glamorous (and most camp) show on the internet keeps generating news, appearing on several local newspapers this week (see the articles on Granada Hoy from Saturday and today or the front page today at Ideal.es).

As reported in these articles, the show will be screened in Granada tonight as a special montage including the premiere of the eighth episode, which will be available online very soon this week.

Yesterday was also the day chosen for the shooting of the new Christmas Special, adding a new cameo to our evergrowing list of guest stars, of which we are so proud. This special episode will be available online in only a few days! Update: the Christmas Special is being edited against the clock so it can be screened tonight as well!

And finally we have announced the great secret we had been keeping fro so long: superstar Alaska will be starring on the show. The shooting will take place next week and her character will play an important role in the Leona’s plots towards the end of the season. Alaska is the most significant figure in the cultural movement of Madrid’s “movida”, has worked with Almodóvar and keeps an active and succesful career as a singer with her band Fangoria. Stay tuned!
