Some people are talking against NaNoWriMo, and they’re even -partially- right, and reading them is worth the while. But there are others, like mi friend Cos, who speak in favour:
I don’t think I’ve ever -except perhaps when I was twelve or thirteen- written so much about a single story, not to mention with such regularity. Sometimes I can’t believe I’m really doing this, simply because I decided myself uncapable a long time ago. My pride beats fast within my chest and it seems strange that some people are not feeling it – that they are not creating a story right now and still live in peace, like they’re not missing a thing – or that they don’t feel so proud of me that they have the urge to talk about it and boast. This is so important for me, it’s always been so important for me, that it seems strange that people wouldn’t congratulate me like it’s my birthday or one of those events when it’s nice to cheer up and celebrate.

Uy, ¡gracias! Ni siquiera sabía que tú andaras por mí blog :B Respecto a las palabras de la otra mozaca, me he quedado a la mitad porque no tengo tiempo ahora mismo pero su buena razón tiene. Ni un nanowriter ni un writer a secas puede esperar a escribir un borrador definitivo, salvo en contadísimas ocasiones. El nano tiene de buenas dos cosas: lanzarte a escribir a velocidad de vértigo y tener suficiente base una vez terminada la carrera como para que, por mucha vagancia que te de revisarlo y echarle tiempo a la historia, más pena te de no… Leer más »
Laura Miller dice que el año pasado acabaron 21.683 nanowrimistas. Si sólo el 1 por mil resultan textos que valgan la pena tendremos 21 nuevas novelas buenas. Felicitémoslos y felicitémosnos.
Todas aquello que sirve de acicate para alguien que pretende escribir, es positivo. Por tanto, bienvenido sea el NaNoWriMo y todas las demás iniciativas, como este blog.
Todo lo que me ha aportado el NanoWriMo es positivo; Me ha quitado el miedo a acometer la novela de una vez, a escuchar a mi propia voz y no la de los eruditos que consideran tal trabajo como privilegio de unos pocos dotados. Escribir una novela es un gran logro, y ahora que estoy a punto de alcanzarlo y he superado las 54000 palabras y aún me quedan tres capítulos, me siento muy orgulloso de mí mismo y tampoco entiendo por qué otros que quieren ser novelistas no se animan a hacerlo.
