Editors decided that it shouldn&#8217;t be the critics, but the authors themselves who should speak about their lives and their art. They created the series of interviews <em>Writers at Work<\/em>, which has become a historic collection of literary self-portraits.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that a large amount of these interviews is now available on <a title=\"Entrevistas a autores\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theparisreview.org\/interviews\" target=\"_blank\">The Paris Review<\/a> website.
