The Paris Review<\/em> is a literary magazine over 5 decades old.<\/strong> From day one it avoided literay criticism and gave priority to previously unpublished texts, opening its pages to new authors that soon became classics such as Jack Kerouac, Italo Calvino or Samuel Beckett. Editors decided that it shouldn’t be the critics, but the authors themselves who should speak about their lives and their art. They created the series of interviews Writers at Work<\/em>, which has become a historic collection of literary self-portraits.<\/p>\n

The good news is that a large amount of these interviews is now available on The Paris Review<\/a> website. Such influential names as Capote, Hemingway, Huxley, Stoppard o Vonnegut, to name but a few, extensively discuss their life, their work and, in some fortunate ocassions, their approach to literary creation.<\/p>\n
